MEDICATION REFILLS

Our office is happy to accomodate your needs for prescription refills during business hours. Your pharmacy will need to fax us a request for a refill. Our office needs 48 hours to respond to refill requests. If you have not been seen in over a year, you will most likely need to make a follow up appointment before refills can be given.

Please note that we generally do not write prescriptions for medicines that do not relate to your heart (such as sleeping pills, thyroid medicines, pain medicines or antibiotics). Please see your primary care doctor for these.

Also, please remember that we can ONLY refill prescriptions during business hours. Please make note of how many pills are left in your bottle and request refills ahead of time to avoid running out.

Our office is proud to offer a brand new program, called "PLAQUE DETECT." This painless, noninvasive 30 minute test uses state of the art ultrasound to diagnose blockages in the carotid arteries, which can lead to stroke. The abdominal aorta and the circulation to the legs is also thoroughly evaluated. Finally, the function of the heart is analyzed, something that no other screening program offers.
